"The deepening interest in the ancient wisdom of alchemy is a sign
that a general reformation of the world is taking place as the third millennium dawns.
It is a time of awakening and of exploration, of change and transformation."
-- from The Philosopher's Stone by Peter Marshall
It's a new year! 2009 was phenomenal, full of transformation and growth. I can't wait to see what we create together in 2010.
My favorite part of publishing Divine Revolution Magazine (DRM) is the opportunity to connect and collaborate with so many creative and inspiring people. People all over the world are doing valuable and uplifting things. For example, the producers of Fresh the Movie, featured in this issue of DRM, who celebrate sustainable farmers and eco-businesses and call attention to our need to become close to our food once again. Reiki master and medium Angie Collins who reminds us of our connection to spirit. Artists Malik Seneferu and Matt Sauer whose stimulating images are witness to the many facets of human experience.
At times, world events can seem overwhelming and disheartening. What we see in the news and happening around us can challenge our ability to create positive imagery. It can block our knowledge that positive transformation and global evolution is happening right now.
The above quote from The Philosopher's Stone is a wonderful description of the time we're living in. We are witnessing a dawn of something beautiful as we reclaim our self sufficiency, community connections and our ability to create magic.
I am profoundly grateful to the many talented artist, poets, writers, and amazing folks who have submitted their work to DRM. You make my job a great one. Here's to your journey fellow traveler. May it be full of deep compassion, abundant love, and overflowing joy.
