what they said never quite permeated the fabric
born to nature, a beautiful weave
the warp only tight in places
i had no words, none were suficient
the beauty of the primitive
not so unsophisticated
nature cannot be evil
that leaves my self part empty
denied, disembodied, much sadder
the missing threads, now found
the spell of the sensuous
that mends this tapestry | . mutable .
i ran on the endless levee
that rose to the dawn
higher to the sun than anything
god found me there, present
with my eyes closed
smiling, weeping, thinking
i saw beyond the great distance
yet my feet grew roots
stretching me to forever
