Have you used your intuition recently? Of course you have. To use your intuition is a very natural thing to do, you don't need any special psychic abilities, just a genuine desire to receive good quality, accurate information and the ability to enter a quiet state of minds so that you can pick up on your intuitive signals.
Here are my top seven tips to help you tune in to your intuitive guidance and make your intuition a practical aspect of your everyday life.
1. Make a note of your intuitive impressions as soon as possible after receiving them. Intuition is held in our short term memory and can easily be forgotten, so record your impressions accurately, as soon as you receive them.
2. Remember that you must interpret and then apply your intuition for it to be useful. "Use it or lose it" as the saying goes.
3. Take care not to add 'content' from your logical thought processes to the original intuitive information as this can result in distortion and mistakes being made.
4. Realize that your intuition will always come to you via your own filters of beliefs, prejudices and cultural assumptions. Being aware of this will help as much good quality information get through as possible.
5. If you have a strong personal need be aware that it is likely to colour or even distort the information you receive.
6. Try to tie your intuition in with other forms of knowledge. Several indicators together can be relied upon much more strongly than one alone.
7. Practice acting on your intuition to build your sense of confidence in your intuitive talent. Like anything else you will find that your accuracy improves with practice.
Oh, and one final tip. Take some time to make a note of your intuitive hunches, at first this may seem like a distraction but it's actually a very valuable exercise because it sensitizes you to the many times, places and ways in which your intuition speaks to you. Do this for just a few weeks and you will be giving yourself excellent feedback on how your levels of accuracy are improving and remember the more you practice the stronger your intuition will become.
