Women were born to experience pleasure. Joy was always meant to be part of the experience of womanhood. Unfortunately many of us have received the download echoed in Patsy Cline's famous song 'It's Hard To Be A Woman'.
And we struggle in menstruation, fertility, pregnancy, birth, menopause and indeed all things feminine. We have observed this in our mothers, grandmothers, sisters and our daughters. Being a woman is hard for sure.
Evidence of The Importance of Pleasure in Womanhood
It is easy then with all this evidence of suffering and hardship to overlook one very significant piece of evidence present in every single woman. Women have a clitoris. This organ was designed exclusively for her pleasure. Think about that! All women have an organ crafted solely for her delight. Hmmm
Guidance From Your Clitoris
What's that about? Could it be that women are meant to have pleasure? It is possible that we were tailored to enjoy ourselves...that our creator intended for us to experience bliss. Your clitoris is within easy access too. It does not require uncomfortable stretching or contortions of any description. It is perfectly placed for enjoyment alone or in relationship.
Surely the fact that your clitoris is positioned in your reproductive system is another clue about womanhood. Perhaps sex, experiences of being a woman (menstruation, pregnancy, birth, and menopause) and all things feminine... were meant to involve pleasure.
Pleasure vs. Struggle in Womanhood
Struggle in menstruation, pregnancy, menopause and beyond is an indication that you are not experiencing enough pleasure in your life. Rather than being proof that 'it is hard to be a woman', these pains indicate that you have deviated from the truth...that pleasure is your birthright and that woman is here to experience pleasure and joy purely for the delight that it brings. Are there ways in which you have been denying yourself pleasure? How can you allow joy in now and follow the wisdom of your amazing female body?
